Weissfels GmbH of Zurich, Switzerland, in cooperation with Printful of Los Angeles, has announced the launch of an online store offering a contemporary collection of food art posters. Swiss-based Weissfels will be responsible for the poster designs, while Printful will print and produce the posters in their California and North Carolina locations.
According to Henrik van Dyck, Managing Director of Foodart.io, this is the first online store of its kind: “We are happy to launch Foodart.io as the first online shop with a curated selection of food art,” he says. “Our customers will get museum-quality food posters, so they can spice up their kitchens and dining areas with delicious designs.”
The posters will be suitable as wall art not only for homeowners, but also for businesses in the food industry too, such as restaurants, diners, coffee shops, bars, pubs, and bakeries. Posters are printed on thick, museum-quality matte paper, and can be framed as an extra option if required.
Foodart.io currently offers almost 200 products and 23 collections. The collections include topics to suit every conceivable food setting, from American, Asian and Mexican restaurants, to bakeries and cafes, and formal dining rooms. Some of the posters depict photographs, some are watercolors, while others show quotes about food and eating.
Henrik believes that Foodart.io is an idea whose time has come. “Finally, a one-stop-shop for anyone in need of food art…it would be hard to find a more eclectic collection anywhere. And our customers can be assured that they are getting superb, museum-quality posters for a more-than-reasonable price!”
Posters can be viewed and ordered online at https://foodart.io
