London – HATA is a London based organisation that provides courses for people specifically working domestic based roles such as housekeepers, house managers, maternity nurses and training for nannies. HATA is made up of a group of highly professional and experienced experts, trained in childcare, nursing, baby and child nutrition, therapy, and first aid.
They offer a wide range of courses to help equip, prepare, and educate anyone already working in this field, or anyone wishing to work in this field. With this in mind, MATA intends to push this profession to be seen and recognised, by providing more and more courses to train anyone wishing to work in the domestic environment.
At www.hatacademy.co.uk, the potential trainee can choose from a range of short courses and workshops. Common core skills and knowledge, baby led potty training, autism and behavioral issues, learning through play, and hypnobirthing are some of the courses to name a few. HATA also provide maternity courses, first aid paediatric course, cache courses, nanny training and so on. This list is to keep expanding, to ensure that everyone working in this field is given the right training, support, and knowledge.
HATA knows and understands that employers look for certain qualities when recruiting staff for domestic roles. They are looking for experience and the relevant qualifications. They believe that getting the qualifications is the easier part. You work hard, you study, you send work in on time, and you receive the qualification. However, gaining the appropriate experience is not as easy. HATA offer two options to assist with this. Placements and Work Experience. Placements are an opportunity to spend some time with a family at their home learning and observing. This family would have a baby less than 6 months, and this opportunity is a chance for the potential maternity nurse or nanny to show their confidence and adaptability to the family parenting style. Work experience follows the same lead and some work experience opportunities can be paid. They try to empathise the importance of actually going out there and gaining experiences yourself, to show potential employers that you have confidence, commitment and dedication, and passion.
HATA offers immense amounts of support and guidance to anyone wishing to pursue a career within the domestic environment. They also have a blog, which provides information on various topics, and answer many common questions the trainee may have about working in this field.
