#1 Ranked Motivational Author Shares Five Powerful Principles to Create More Success.
Los Angeles, CA, April 11, 2017 — Motivational author and speaker Shawn Anderson loves to help others succeed and win in life. “My juice in life is empowering others to achieve the goals they passionately desire,” shares Anderson, a recently #1 ranked Amazon “motivation” author. “Nothing is more empowering to my spirit than pushing or pulling others to the top of a goal mountain that once seemed unachievable to them.”
Having coached hundreds of people to “dream the life they want to live and then take massive action to create it,” Anderson shares five tips for people who want more success in their world. First, Anderson says, “Cast a vision for each day. Know exactly what you want to achieve on that day and start working on it immediately. When we control our mornings, we control our days.”
Second, Anderson shares, “Go the extra mile in everything that is important to you. We will never fly out of Mediocreland by continuing to do just the norm. It’s doing the little ‘extra’ that creates extra success.”
Third, “Be the best version of yourself with others. When we continually work to bring our best person to each day, people will begin to gravitate to us more frequently. When they do, opportunities and ‘luck’ closely follow.”
Fourth, “Keep growing. Don’t become stagnant or stop developing. Instead, keep reading; keep learning; keep mastering. When we grow, so does our success.”
Finally, “Show gratitude to everyone and for everything. Success follows gratitude. No matter what is happening in your life, be grateful for the lessons. We never lose. We win or we learn.”
Referred to often as “The Extra Mile Man” because of his “go the extra mile” message, Anderson walks his talk. The author of six motivational books, including A Better Life: An Inspiring Story About Starting Over and Extra Mile America: Stories of Inspiration, Possibility and Purpose, Anderson is also the creator of “Extra Mile Day” – a day recognizing the capacity we each have to create positive change when we go the extra mile. On November 1, 2016, 560 mayors and cities made the unique declaration and recognized those in their local communities who were going the extra mile in volunteerism and service. In his own Forest Gump sort-of-way, Anderson takes “go the extra mile” literally. He has pedaled a bicycle solo across the U.S. twice and will be walking border-to-border across his 5th country in June 2017.
“Living a life that you love starts with having the courage to quit coasting,” Anderson, the author of the motivational book Amicus 101: A Story About the Pursuit of Purpose and Overcoming Life’s Chaos, concludes. “Life is fast and short, so why would we ever choose to waste a single breath living anything that is mediocre?”
