Part of the increasingly popular duo Under Ground Princes (UGP), Sambrum has released multiple hit singles, with a highly anticipated debut album on the way

Maryland, USA 09/22/20 - For those of us that have heard about, or are fans of ‘Sambrum’, the stories of his name, upbringing, journey, and lifestyle have been elusive. More so for those that haven’t even heard of him at all. You might not know his name right off the bat but the Indian-American rapper, singer and Tabla player has always been about the bigger picture.

Part of the increasingly popular alternative hip hop duo Under Ground Princes (alongside best friend, Rohiit), Sambrum has been involved in music from an early age. He trained in the popular Indian percussion instrument called Tabla, and was also vocally trained as a singer. He is considered a Tabla master in his community winning various awards, has taught a lot of youths in his community, and has been headlined in TV News and various newspapers.

Sambrum has always had a passion for hip-hop as well and has gone on to release multiple individual singles/freestyles/mixtapes to showcase his talents. Sambrum is known for his Tabla + Rap freestyles which he showcases on his Instagram, Facebook, and Tik-Tok accounts where he plays the percussion Tabla and Rap simultaneously - something never seen before.

UGP is a very unique group as they fuse and incorporate styles from American hip-hop with their own Indian culture to create a new, fresh sound that is unique to them. They make music in different languages including English, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada. The duo has released many singles over the last year in preparation for the release of their debut album “Brown Bulls” set to release fall 2020. “Brown Bulls” album includes singles such as “Don’t Toss It”, “Deadly Tandem”, and “Everything Glossy” whose videos have already been gaining major traction on YouTube. Be on the lookout for their album “Brown Bulls” which will be available everywhere this fall.
